THE GERMAN B2B MARKETPLACE

By Mikaela Berglund
Conrad is a German B2B marketplace that is growing at a swift pace. This marketplace only accepts orders from registered B2B customers which for now are schools, other companies, and authorities.
“Isn’t Conrad a B2C platform as well?” – Yes, it is. However, their marketplace is solely for B2B customers, and marketplace items will differentiate with the text “only available for corporate customers”.
Currently, the marketplace has over 6 million active products from over 4,5 thousand manufacturers which makes them one of Europes broadest platforms for electronics and technology products.
For now, this marketplace has prepayment and invoice as the payment methods, but they are planning on adding more options. Sellers can choose to do their own logistics or use Conrad’s fulfillment services.
Conrad charges a monthly fee of €99 plus a provision. This provision depends on which category you are selling in, but it is somewhere between 5 % and 15 %.
Conrad marketplace also has a great guide with tips about product data, you’ll find it here. Note – it’s in German.
If you sell electronics or technology products and want to reach 2 million B2B customers this marketplace will suit you well. The onboarding process is stated to be quick and smooth, and as always, you will always receive help from Sellos onboarding managers.
