WooCommerce

There are two ways to use WooCommerce with Sello, you can either connect Sello to an already existing WooCommerce store located on an external server, or we can create one for you from scratch. All we need is a name and we’ll take care of the rest.

Having a WooCommerce store created for you means we will also host it for you, storing it on one of our servers. We will give the store a name of your choice and give it a temporary domain name, which you are welcome to keep if you’d like. If not, simply register your own domain name and we will help you point it in the right direction. Once created, the store is considered your own personal property, so if you decide to move to another hosting provider, we will help you take it with you.

There is no limit to how many webshops you can have connected to Sello, this also goes for the number of webshops you can have created for you, and all of the above scenarios are entirely free of charge as part of your Sello premium account plan.

WooCommerce Webshop
The WooCommerce platform is an open-source webshop addon for the content management system (CMS) WordPress released in 2011. The WooCommerce webshop platform is known for its modularity and for being the industry standard when it comes to webshop plugins for the WordPress platform. We have been working with WooCommerce since 2015.

Should you want to switch hosting providers we can move the WooCommerce store to one of our own servers, we offer web hosting services as part of our premium account plan, so we will do this entirely for free. The process of migrating to one of our servers is something we have done countless times, from many different systems, so we can ensure a quick and painless move.

If you wish to connect an external WooCommerce store to Sello, all you need to do is input the URL to your shop at which point you’ll be taken to a WordPress login page, you’ll then be asked to grant Sello access to your store and after that, you are all set. When the integration is done, we will import your categories among other things.

Now all that’s left is to make sure that the products are present in Sello. As luck would have it, we have a dedicated WooCommerce import feature that lets you import all your products, creating them in the Sello inventory automatically.
